Wine
No culture is defined by their wine like Italy. Italian wine history begins when Greeks settled in southern Italy in the 8th century BC. They were so impressed with the fertile land that they decided to import vine. Etruscans, dwellers in Central Italy, later took Greek heritage and improved their techniques on winemaking. Romans, eventually, spread the cult of wine across Europe, making it one of the most beloved drinks so far.
